[CLOSED] A RIGHT ROYAL OCCASION!

Who was the greatest racehorse of all time? Tell us and you could win 2 FREE tickets to Royal Ascot 2017!

There is nothing more glorious than watching from the grandstand as finely-tuned racehorses thunder down the finishing straight, spraying soil and grass in their wake, jockeys leaning low over their haunches as they bid to take first place. Crowds roar, champagne is uncorked and words of celebration or commiseration are exchanged. The world of horse racing is a special one and has been treated as such for centuries. Over the years we have seen some of the greatest horses around compete for trophies and adulation, but who do you think is the greatest racehorse of all time?

Could it be British-born Frankel, owned by Khalid Abdullah and trained by Henry Cecil, who finished a fourteen-race career unbeaten? Or Seabiscuit, the subject of a Hollywood film and a champion thoroughbred, who overcame his lack of stature to land titles and win the hearts of the American public in the 1930s? Maybe you think it should be Secretariat, a large chestnut colt from Virginia, who secured a record-breaking win in 1973 Belmont Stakes in New York? Or perhaps you’re a fan of old-school nostalgia and the unrivalled treble achieved by Irish-born Red Rum in 1973, 1974 and 1977 Grand Nationals? Whomever your choice, let us know on the form below and you could be in with a chance of winning 2 FREE tickets to Royal Ascot 2017!
